Okay so i finished my AP calculus BC my junior year and i did well on my AP exam. My school offers Calculus 3 as a course for students who finished BC calculus. What is calculus 3 consist of?

multivariable calc

Calculus 3 is usually multi-variable calculus. You’ll learn things such as partial derivatives, multiple integration, gradients, curl, flux, Lagrange multipliers, and Green’s and Stoke’s theorems. Or it could be a differential equations course.

And/or Linear Algebra.

Multivariate Calc and Linear Algebra are considered to be the foundation for elective courses in math.
