<p>In a few weeks I’m going to perform a concert that will be a crowning achievement for years of my creative work as an amateur musician. I want the colleges to know about it (it’s a good extracurricular) but it will actually take place shortly before or already after most of the admissions deadlines. I can ask my supervisor to write a note about my engagement in the whole thing and send it to colleges, but I don’t know if he should meet the deadlines and send it before my concert or exceed the deadlines and send it after the gig. Any advice?</p>
