how many points can your third quarter average drop before getting an “on second thought…” letter?

I just tanked an AP Bio test - hard - and I’m kinda worried. I made a list of things I needed to accomplish to maintain my average within 2 points and it shouldn’t be too difficult, but I’m still a little worried about that test.

So, how many points is too many? 3? 4? More?

Thanks a lot.

This is also assuming that I do really well fourth quarter.

Does my school send them a third-quarter report, or just my transcript at the end of the year?

my counselor told me they won’t send out our year report until September…
so…in this case, they probably won’t find out until you started school in August

So if I just bust my *** from now 'till June I’m probably fine?

LOL Don’t worry about it. Unless you’re failing for the quarter and it’s like that for all your classes, you’re fine. Relax.

As “proof” that you actually graduated, your high school is supposed to mail out your final transcript to your college of choice by the end of June. All that shows up is the end of year grades for 9th - 12th.

can’t you ppl do a search?

anyway they can drop a pretty big deal…like from all A’s to B’s, maybe even a C+ if it’s a ridic course or u have some obvious reaeson. I’d say a drop like that would be the threshhold for them questioning you. A’s to B’s tho, I reeally don’t think they’d go crazy about.

Senioritis took its toll on me…I don’t even think I’lll be a valedictorian at the end of the year. If things go the way they’re goin, I’ll have 2 B+'s as final grades unless I step up the effort this semester. But since this semester is my last in HS, i don’t think its gonna happen…lol.
