I am a Senior and have filled out all applications already. I want to attend A&M college station in the fall. I am in the top 25 quarter and have a 3.6 gpa. I didn’t do so well on my ACT, I got a 21. But I do have a lot of community service hours and extracurricular activities throughout highschool. Also I am in the National Honors Society. I have been hearing many different stories on how hard it is to get into A&M, I just want to know if it is possible for me to get in, with such a low ACT score.

It’s debatable. If they think your GPA and EC’s make up for the poor ACT they might let you in. I do know someone who got in with similar stats as you, but there are other factors involved that you may or may not have (good rec letters, legacy, great essays). I would retake the ACT or take the SAT if you have time. If not, there is nothing else you can do but wait. Good luck
