If I plan to drop Forensic Science, which is basically a useless semester class, will I need to inform the schools I have applied to even though I will be sending them a midyear report without the class on it?

Better yet, what’s your opinion if I don’t take a science course my senior year if I plan on studying business and already have four years of science?

I was originally planning on taking Forensics just to have a science there, but right now, I don’t really see a point to it since its not AP or Honors, which my other four years of science were and I’m not planning on going into the science field. However, I just want to make sure that this won’t take away from my chances at college admissions.

Some schools I’m applying: Carnegie Mellon, Emory, BC, NYU, Wash. U in St. Louis, Duke, UNC.
