<p>About listing colleges, it is best to be honest. If you write “none,” you would probably be found to be a liar. Logically, since the admit rate at Rice is low, you would not be applying only to Rice unless you are extremely foolish.</p>

<p>Go to “conflicted about the ‘other colleges’ question” as the honesty issue was addressed there. My S wrote about his summer work experience fwiw. I would think that if your topic could fit into the category of “work” or “educational” it would be fine.</p>
