During my Freshman year in highschool, i had a 3.54 unweighted GPA. These were rough times for me though because my father was having serious health issues throughout the first semester and right in the middle of december i broke my leg in 6 spots and was in a full leg cast for 6 months, missing days of school. My sophomore GPA was a 3.86 and my Junior year should be a 4.0 or above. Should i put my freshman situation in my resume to show them that i just wasnt slacking off??

yes! That is considered worthy of noting. Maybe have your Guidance counselor mention something too. You should be fine if you explain that, and besides, they care about freshman grades least.

^ You should! You might want to mention it in the ‘Additional Info’ section of the application.

Classicalguitar8, can you walk properly now??
Just curious

yea i can, it took a while and kinda ended my hockey career, but it was a good thing cause then i started rowing and running alot more marathons and stuff, but yea its back to normal, although my knee and my foot are slightly out of line, like my foot turns in wen i run.
