<p>Hi, I am an international student from Mexico. I am studying in UTB, but my goal is to study Fashion Design. I was checking universities in Texas online, and I found the Art Institute of Houston, so I called and everything sounded pretty good (they also said they will accept the credits I have) until I started looking reviews and everyone says it is a fraud and a scam and they will only take my money, so I decided to check again and found the IADT in San Antonio, which cost half the price than AI, but it also has very bad reviews, so I don´t know what to do. Are they both really that bad? Is there a better school for fashion design in Texas or do I have to definitely start checking somewhere else? Please, I´ll appreciate all the information you can give me.</p>

<p>The art institutes are a scam to make money off federal student loans, do not attend them, no employer wants to hire someone with a degree from a for profit university.</p>

<p>It’s likely best to avoid the for-profit schools like Art Institute. As you see from the reviews, there are all kinds of problems with them and quality can vary.</p>
