<p>During our Owl Days tour, our guide explained that some of the older colleges
were on line for air conditioning repairs. Will all the colleges be ready –
with nice cool air in each room – by the time the freshmen arrive in August?</p>

<p>I don’t think you’re going to have any AC problems at Rice. The renovations on the old colleges are much more than just air conditioning repairs. Those aren’t going to happen for a while, though. They’ve got to finish the new colleges before they can start significant renovations on the older colleges. By the way, the colleges getting repaired are Lovett, Will Rice, and Baker.</p>
<p>I have yet to enter any Rice building that wasn’t cool to downright freezing. As air conditioning is very important in Houston, they won’t let you down.</p>

<p>Every building at Rice is air conditioned. The south college improvements are individual thermostats in every room.</p>
