I have a venture capital one credit card. I just noticed today I had 50,000 miles. I can redeem to pay down the credit card, I have no balance as I pay it off every month, I can get a gift card or use it on any airline. I don’t even know how much it’s actually worth. Is there a number you wait to get to, or a timeframe? Mine never expire. Just curious how you determine when to use them?
You need to calculate how much value you could get from each method:
A. 50,000 miles can be used to pay how much $ on your bill?
B. 50,000 miles can be used to get gift cards worth how much $ at places you buy from?
C. 50,000 miles can be used to get airline tickets that you would otherwise have to pay how much $ with cash?
You can book travel via capital one’s website and pay with your points. It is 1:1. You can also get gifts cards, like Amazon. I like capital one because it is 1:1, not like other points.
pop around on your reward site. The is most likely a redemption page that lets you know
what your points are worth. Also, Google the question.
