Contour Airlines will be starting flights into my local regional airport from a city near one of my kids. I’m not familiar with the airline. Opinions? Prices are good and it would make flying here for kiddo one flight versus 2.
They seem to offer flights out of those regional airports which do not have the population to merit an airport so are subsidized. We have an airport like that near one of our frequent destinations. I find the routes change often and things are pretty shifty in terms of scheduling, but the actual flights are fine. Contour has just contracted for two airports near family members.
I made reservations for my D in January 158.00 round trip. Gas would be almost that if she drove. @somemom our regional airport has a couple of large carriers that fly in and out that have been stable. Every few years a smaller carrier will come in and last a season or two. I hope this one works out as it will help us see our D more.
