Airsoft/Paintball

Does UC Berkeley permit airsoft/paintball guns in the dorms if they are concealed and possibly locked? Also, I vaguely remember hearing about how a college campus somewhere allows students to store their airsoft/paintball guns with the campus police. Does UC Berkeley offer that?

Focus on 12556

I think it also violates the Residential Hall Rules (see rule 18)

tl;dr No. Not sure about the second part; you should call them.

Some policy confuses me…
You can smoke at designated smoking bench, but possession of it is a violation of the policy? How do you suppose to not posseess it and smoke? Do I suppose to finish a pack outside to not bring it into my room? Or that’s for something like Pot?

pretty sure nobody is going to notice/care as long as you keep it relatively hidden…

Aww too bad not enough people are into tasteful sports for toy guns to be legal to store. Airsoft/Paintball/Starcraft > Football any day.

Thanks for the info.
