Alabama Competitive Achievement Scholarships

We know Alabama provides very generous OOS merit aid, but curious to hear if anyone has any insights on their OOS competitive achievement scholarships.

Does anyone have further insight on how frequently these are awarded and the amounts? We noted on their website that it can be up to full value of tuition. Are these used more for students who apply test optional?
