<p>hi guys! I’m finishing up ALEKS, but I can’t seem to complete the Matter section. It says that there’s 8 of 15 mastered, but when I hover my mouse over that part on the MyPie, it says, “There are currently no topics to choose in this slice.”</p>
<p>Anyone else have this issue? Is it supposed to be like that?

<p>Looks like some glitch. You should email ALEKS.</p>
<p>There’s certain topics you need to complete before starting others. So do your other topics and then they will open up.</p>

i heard we only need to complete 80% which is like about 60</p>
<p>yup, what KingsElite said was right! I called ALEKS and they said that this occurs when you need to finish a section beforehand. I just had 4 last sections in measurement, which is why I couldn’t do the matter section</p>
<p>@GravityxZero yea you only need to complete 80% for full credit, but I’m doing everything cuz it’s good review haha (: I haven’t taken chem since 10th grade!!</p>
<p>It’s not hard to get 100% completion, if you do well enough on the assessment. :)</p>
<p>After I finished my last topic, ALEKS brought me to a “Goal Completion Assessment.” Did anyone else have this happen? Also, none of the emails Dr. Johnson sent out mentioned this assessment so I’m guessing it isn’t necessary to receive the full 5%.</p>
<p>Yeah, it surprised me as well after I finished the pie the first time. But after you finish the goal completion ssessment and review any additional topics again if needed, you will be at 100% completion.</p>

<p>The 80% for full credit was given in Dr. Johnson’s email, if that’s what you’re asking.</p>

<p>Well I completed it 100% too, because it helped me remember stuff I had forgotten.</p>
