Can someone let me know if this is appropriate for a 27 year old as a gift for her match for residency day?
I was planning to send flowers but then thought to send a necklace from either Amazon or Zappos as it needs to arrive by Thursday so she could possible wear it. I keep running into “Alex and Ani” and have no idea what this line is about.
Is it age appropriate for her? I think a nice bracelet or necklace would be more important to her as they are living on a tight budget.

They became popular as bangle bracelets and most people who wear them wear several at the same time. I think they can go for any age. My kids got them in high school for different things - sports, birthday, name of college, etc. I have a friend who wears them and she’s much older than a teenager (in fact, she has a college aged kid).

I received one for my 40th birthday (bracelet) and I wear it all the time. Not sure if younger adults wear them, but I love mine!

Yes, very popular for all ages. I have several and so does my high school daughter.

As the mom of a resident, I’d say go with the necklace. Residents can rarely wear bracelets.

Also if she’s matching into pediatrics, the Harry Potter necklaces are a hit with the kids.

Not pediatrics but that would be great if she was doing pediatrics.
I am looking at the Path of Life or the Lotus. She typically chooses silver tones and I feel unsure of the Path of life words.

My daughter requested a pearl necklace from Alex and Ani for Christmas and it is beautiful. it’s a single pearl on an adjustable chain. It goes with everything and she gets many compliments on it. She also wears their bracelets and has a ring from them.

I’ve only worn it a few times, but I like it. The jewelry is simple. I think it’s appropriate for any age.

They are a great company and give back to the communities they serve.

I think they do bags and other things now too.

And the liberty copper jewelry was smelted from the inner framework of the Statue of Liberty when it was refurbished a few years ago. Cool idea.
