Ali Wong is performing in Portland this week. I can’t even tell you why but I just really want to see her performance. She has a small role in American Housewives and that is all I know about her for comedy.
I have a good ticket for myself tomorrow night as H is busy. (he did not think I would go alone?? Guessing at 68 this is not an issue as it was not when I was even 21–but that is a different post).
Has anyone seen her? Do you know her? Do you like her?
I believe I’ve seen two of her specials on Netflix. I think she’s hysterical but she definitely pushes the envelope and is rather shocking imo. Nothing appears to be off limits, apparently. Have fun!

This was simply excellent! She is very funny, slightly raunchy. H hated Robin Williams but I think she would have been ok for him. I also did not feel the least bit bad or self-conscious being alone. So much easier than being 21.
Glad you had fun! And good for you for going solo! You prompted me to check if she’ll be in my town…she will but tickets are only available on the secondary market for $245. I’ll have to stick with Netflix. Thanks for reporting back.
