I took the plunge and ordered through Alibaba. Has anyone else? I’m a little confused about the tracking. It says my order is at the lastmile carrier-destination after customs. Does that mean it’s ready to leave China or is it somewhere in the US?

Last mile is (usually) an agreement between the US postal service and the original carrier (DHL, UPS) to deliver it from the post office to your home with your mail.

I do not mean this question to be offensive. @daylily1, I am curious why you chose to order from Alibaba rather than Amazon or a US company that would be shipping from here? Especially since scams when attempting to use Alibaba are reasonably common?
My Asian expat family members have not always had good experience with Alibaba. I have no personal experience.

I needed a bulk order. Cost was about half what it would have been through Amazon for the exact item and I would have had to use different vendors to get the number I needed.
Tracking shows it arrived in Canada and is now in the US on it’s way to me today.
My order arrived. Exactly what I wanted and quick, too.
