I was recruited as an athlete to Cal for the class of 2019. I signed the NLI in the fall, and I am awaiting acceptance next month. Does any one know how Berkeley is as far as rescinding students,especially student athletes, upon a drop in grades? As far as second quarter grades, I had two C+'s and the rest of my grades were B’s and A’s. My first quarter grades were all B’s and A’s. Thanks for the help!

Up to the school and the coach. It is unlikely to rescind.
Typical conditions of admission at UCs include a 3.0 or higher GPA in senior year, with no D or F grades. But read your admission letter carefully for the conditions in case they are different.
I believe that Cal has been increasing the grade requirements for athletes. Check with your coach instead of worrying. You are likely fine.
