<p>wow, you have really good test scores, you just need to get your GPA up…colleges might think you are lazy and no one wants a lazy person at their college. You need to do really well in the interview and convince them that youll work really hard. These schools might be a target/reach for you (safety, target, reach)</p>
<p>The UC’s really emphasize GPA, and nothing but your rigor and essays are as important. I would not retake the SAT again: that would accentuate the difference between your potential (the SAT) and your work habits (GPA). I understand that the SAT is indeed study-able, but colleges will make the assumption that you may lack the crucial study habits or discipline required to succeed at their college. </p>
