All those dissatisfied with the Biology Subject Test

I personally felt that there were a few questions that were ambiguous, if not equivocal in nature. It has happened before, and it can happen again: If enough people complain about specific questions, those can be revoked and not graded.

The questions that caused frustrations (not a compete list by any stretch):

a) Bird question (which is not a characteristic of birds)
b) Most food questions (savanna or rainforest … didn’t specify most food for WHO – rainforest produces most food TOTAL, but savanna produces most food for HUMANS…)
c) Parathormone annoyance
d) Questions from M (I took E)

Here’s how to file a complaint:

"In order to report a test error or ambiguity, please send a letter
including the following information:

The date and name of the test (SAT Reasoning or specific Subject test)
The section of the test involved
The test question (as well as you can remember it) along with an
explanation of your concern.

Also include your full name, mailing address, date of birth, test
registration number (if you know it), the test center name, test center
number and address.

So, have you complained yet?

a) Forget it. Question is fine. Teeth are not a characteristic of birds, though primitive and intermediate species may have teeth (or tooth).
b) Question did specify food for humans
c) Questions were all good.
d) ???

Let it be. Move on.

I have complained

Some questions were incontrovertibly confusing. Anyway I don’t think CB’s cancelling any of those, no matter how hard we try.

whats the harm in trying

It’s not a matter of how hard you try, it’s a matter of how valid your complaint is. Every complaint receives a response. Every response may not be what you want to hear, though.
