Almost finished with my major but looking for a minor in either theatre, behavioral healthcare (focusing on children’s mental health), or broadcast journalism. I can’t just take courses in these programs since they are major/minor only courses. I have 5 more courses before I could graduate but I’m not ready and I want to minor in something. I don’t know how to decide which one?

What is your major?

International Studies

In any endeavor to decide among choices, it is always good to make a list of pros and cons for each possibility. I see two separate themes - performance versus health. So it could be determining which of those paths are more appealing to you. I see the performance as path something that will make you more effective in communicating in the IR field. The health path would seem to help if you decide that children are your mission in IR. I can see the theatre minor as something that can lead to a hobby as you go through life. These are a couple thoughts off the top of my head. I can see a rationale for each direction.
