I saw Courtney Barnett a few years ago. She was great.Would have like to see her on this tour but the closest she was coming was 2-3 hours away and I just couldn’t.

This was the first time I have seen her live and I was blown away by how great her voice sounded live and what an amazing guitar player she is! Definitely a case where her songs sound even better live than recorded (and I love her recordings!)

me too - I didn’t even look for tickets - I wonder if he’s coming to So Cal…(going to look)

ETA: He is, but big arena shows - not really how I’d like to see him, but I’ll keep him on my maybe list (it’s for late fall anyway)

I love the neighborhood concert series we have as well, lots of cover bands, which I love!

My love is going to that (local LA) with my best friend - sadly I wasn’t available.

Pink always puts on a great show. I didn’t go to see her this time as I’ve seen her a couple of times before.

So happy you are able to go! It is at my favorite outdoor concert venue here in San Diego on the SDSU campus. When I was in college we were allowed to sit on the grass outside and even though you couldn’t see the band you could hear the music.

Memories - that’s how my friends and I got to “see” (listen to) Anita Oday in Malibu in the mid 70s. We’d lay on the sand outside the jazz club (Pasquale’s), stargazing and digging the music! We were broke 20 somethings

We are huge CB fans, and have seen her 4 times. She’s incredible. We saw her last week in Philly, and Kurt Vile joined her on stage for a song. Such a great night.

Next up is a special concert for the opening of The Springsteen Center for American Music. Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Jackson Browne, Sheryl Crow, Mavis Staples, Gary Clark, Jr., …It’s going to be epic.

Our family always goes to several Tanglewood Concerts (Lenox, MA) in the summer. This year we’ve got tickets for Winton Marsalis and Yo Yo Ma. Also, (for the first time) going to a special program for children (Tanglewood for Kids). GD will be here with us in July.

I adore them together!

Maybe Judy Collins. Maybe Paul Simon but it conflicts with something else I want to do.

I’m thinking about trying to catch Kurt Vile this summer. Depends on the timing and the funding.

The best part of the Hollywood Bowl is the acoustics are so phenomenal there’s not a “bad” seat in the house!

I’ll be there for David Byrne, Santana, Jon Batiste (just want to be “in the room” with his magic!) & at least one more - I’m on the fence for St Vincent as I’ve seen her (amazing) at an intimate venue and I think she’s gonna get swallowed up at the Bowl.

Go! I also think she’s great, and saw her open for the Lumineers at Soldier Field in Chicago last summer. Soldier field holds about 55,000 for a concert, and it was sold out that night. Most people got to their seats for St Vincent…she was riveting, not swallowed up at all.

We saw Springsteen in DC last week, absolutely epic show. Nothing else on the calendar until October, when we’ll be at the Power to the People festival organized by Tom Morello. Really excited to see Joan Baez, Foo Fighters, Public Enemy and a host of other performers. Never thought I’d see those names on the same bill. Dylan is performing not far from us in July, still debating on tickets for that.
