<p>My daughter (an 09) is just about to verbally commit to UCD as a recruited athlete. It won’t be a done deal until tomorrow or so, so she doesn’t want to tell a lot of people yet. I am trying to respect her descretion, but I am having heck of a time eeping my mouth shut. I figured I could post it here without blowing her cover.</p>

<p>Will she get to choose her dorm and stuff, or do they put the athletes in a particular area? I have a million questions. I am so excited and so proud of her, but I guess it is a little soon to buy the bicycle.</p>
