Alternative College Application Essay

<p>I’m applying to Duke, Rice, UNC-CH, and UVA and do not like any of the application essay prompts. Are there any that you know of that you liked or used as your entrance paper? I’m thinking about the Robertson Scholarship essay prompt.</p>

<p>Blythe, I would be cautious about tinkering with prompts. You might want to run it by the Rice admissions office before investing time in it.</p>
