I made a thread earlier, questioning if my degree was worthwhile because the work is too easy… It still is, but I have a new complaint:
My professors are terrible. I think every one of them I’ve contacted has a poor grasp of English - and they don’t tell me how they based the grade on my essay, even though I’ve asked, so I don’t know if I’m losings points because they misunderstand grammar. It’s disappointing when they give me an assigned reading that was written by their staff.
They completely ignore questions I send them, they try to have me contact their provider to fix technical issues on their end (!!!), etc.
Are there any good, online-school alternatives to FHSU with B.S. Psych and similar price?
What is FHSU? Why would the program have to be online - unless you’re a working professional, attending college would be better for you as a lot happens outside the classroom. What are your stats? It sounds like you want a LAC (only professors teach, no TA’s) but there are hundreds of them so we need your HS profile and your budget to recommend the right ones.
Fort Hays State University.
You asked me why only online in my other thread. It’s political, and I don’t want to create a debate here.
I have a GED and I’m 27. Should be 3.75-4.0 GPA when my first semester ends.
Budget - Right at or very close to FAFSA limit. ($2,900/sem.)
I looked at TESU, they’re more than Double the cost - and their reputation is worse than FHSU’s.
I really think you need a LAC that doesn’t require you to live on campus. LACs will have professors teaching the classes. The issue would be cost.
Any chance you can move to another state and work, so that you establish residency and can get in-state tuition?
What about Truman State? Berea College?
@MYOS1634 What does LAC stand for?
I’ll look at those, thanks.
Aren’t cheaper online schools usually unconcerned with residency?
LAC stands for liberal arts college.
