<p>OP, a two-hour drive each way? At that distance, I think you could legitimately ask about talking on Skype or Facetime. </p>
<p>There was a thread from last year about the questions asked. It varied from alum to alum. Some seemed to ask stock questions; some were more creative.</p>
<p>Yes! If you cannot make it, definitely reply to the interviewer. Politeness and good manners will serve you well in the college application process and the rest of your life. Hope that doesn’t sound too preachy, but I look very favorably on job applicants who reply – and reply promptly.</p>
<p>^Agree. If my kiddo were asked to drive two hours for a college interview, I’d tell her to decline. It’s just not all that. Now maybe if it were for a big scholarship committee interview, it could persuade dad!</p>
