Am I a competitive applicant??

<p>What would you say my odds are of getting in? Do I have a chance??? </p>

<p>-Race: White
-Gender: Female
-Location: SC
-Will not apply for financial aid
-Unweighted GPA: 3.75
-Weighted GPA: 4.40
-Highest ACT Composite: 32
-ACT Superscore (for those who consider it): 34
-My high school is a magnet and is consistently ranked in the top 10 high schools in the nation.
-Ranking: no ranking
-AP’s taken: European History, Psychology, English Language, Calculus AB, Physics B, Literature, Macroeconomics, Government.
-I have taken at least 1 class each year in all core subjects. This trend will be continued into my senior year. All of these classes have been honors/AP classes
-I have written a thesis. It was 67 pages of champion.
-I have done about 100 hours of community service.
-I am the co-president and co-founder of my high school’s GSA. This may carry more weight considering I live in a very conservative state, and to establish and maintain this group was very difficult, although necessary.
-I am also active in groups such as Junior Intermezzo, National Honors Society, National Spanish Honors Society</p>

<p>You have a good shot. Your unweighted GPA is a tad low, but other than that you look like a pretty good candidate.</p>

<p>I think you have a decent shot. Since you go to a magnet school, your gpa is explained due to the rigor of your coursework. I’d still try to get it up if you can, since it is a hair low, but your ex currics are good.</p>

<p>College admissions are so much more insane than they were when I was applying 4 years ago…</p>
