Am I aiming too high?

My SAT score is a 1930 (cr: 620, m: 670, w: 640).

I’m not sure about my GPA (naviance tells a different story from what I calculate), but my grade history has been:

9th grade: 4 Bs, 1 A (all college prep classes)
10th grade: 3 Bs, 2 Cs (all accelerated classes)
11th grade: 2 Bs, 4 As (one college prep, four accelerated, one AP)

My list:
Case Western
Mount Holyoke
Tulane
Agnes Scott
Simmons
Lake Forest
Monmouth (IL)
Saint Olaf

I feel like I’m applying out of my league. Am I?

That looks like ~3.2 UW. Google the Common Data Set for each school and look at section C7 to see what they use for admission. Section C9-C11 show the stats of admitted students.

Case Western is out of reach unless you have an impressive EC.
Mount Holyoke is a reach, Tulane and St Olaf also but you have a shot (well, you should try all 3).
Agnes Scott, Simmons, Monmouth, Lake Forest are matches.
Where are you from? if you’re further away than 500 miles (rouhgly) from these colleges, it"d boost your application since colleges like to have students who represent all 50 states.
What’s your senior year courseload?
Do you have a hook (legacy, athlete, URM, International Competition Winner…)?

It’s funny that you mention that about Case Western- for some reason, according to naviance, no one from my school (even those with stats like to mine) has ever been rejected from Case. Don’t know what’s going on there shrugs

I’m from New Jersey, so <~500 away from all besides MoHo and Simmons. I’m also an ORM, and my senior courses are:

AP Lit
AP Gov
AP Stats
AP Human Geo
Chinese II (honors)
US History (accelerated)

Your Naviance is the most reliable predictor of your chances.

You are wasting your time if you believe people on here over that.

I would say that you a better than 50% chance at all of the schools. (as worthless as that is when you have Naviance).

naviance is better than people here because it crunches a LOT of data whereas, regardless of how experienced the adults here are, they only have access to what little information you can provide. If Case Western appears doable according to Naviance, then go for it.
Same for all others of course. :)

Corey - I don’t think you are aiming too high. Case & Tulane are great schools.

Your upward trend is crucial to getting into these schools and you can still take the sats again if you are worried about that
