Am I applying to enough schools?

<p>1 Reach-Duke</p>

<p>1 High Match- Davidson</p>

<p>1 Match- UNC (in-state)</p>

<p>1 Low Match- Elon</p>

<p>(I’m doing EA for Elon, so I’ll know if I got accepted by Dec. 20 which would leave me almost 2 weeks to apply to a major safety if I don’t get into my top 3 choices.)</p>

<p>Is this wise? Or is this one of those incredibly stupid things that people do that ends up screwing them over?</p>

<p>(On a side note, do most people really apply to 20 colleges??? This seems insane to me!)</p>

<p>If you like all four of those, it shouldn’t prove a problem. I’d recommend getting one or two more on there, however, just to be safe.</p>

<p>Yeah – I think anything over ten colleges is ridiculous. In your case, though I would suggest a few more – maybe another safety, match, and reach?</p>

<p>Go with a safety, a low reach/high match and a plain match.</p>

<p>your list is fine… but add a safety that you are guaranteed to get into if you don’t get into Elon EA… maybe even try doing EA to two schools</p>
