First Semester Freshman here. With the Semester wrapping up, grades are coming in.
I took 16 Credits. 6 classes.
Thing is, I failed an elective that isn’t needed for my major that’s worth 2 Credits.
All of my other classes I have A’s and B’s, so my total GPA is still going to be like 3.0(I think).
Am I going to get thrown out? Will this kill my chance to get Scholarships?
Am I right that my GPA will still be ~3.0?

Are you already in college? Where are you applying for scholarships? The best ones come from the schools, but they’re generally awarded before students enroll.
Do you mean your GPA may be too low to retain your current scholarship? Some colleges put students on probation for a semester before pulling their scholarships. If that’s your situation, check your school handbook to see what their policy is.
