I plan/hope to take the following tests on the following dates

-ACT- April 14
-SAT- May 5
-Independent Studies in AP US Gov, Comp Gov and Psych- May 7-15
-SATII in June… maybe

I see the SAT on the 5th and the APs conflicting… but I say… If I do good on the ACT then eff the SAT. My time schedule for that time of year isnt bad and I’ll have at least 1hr+ each night to devote to studying.

So, my dear personal guidance councilors/psychologists am I crazy?

that’s what i’m doing, and i’m a sophomore… who’s not a crazy overachiever. except i’m not sure about the sat ii and ap tests… i will def take something, but i don’t know, i’ev never taken an AP class so (but a bio class at college)…it will be independent study, and i’m not sure… i just posted a thread concerning this… i’m still contemplating, but the ACT and SAT i will take no matta whatt… i’m excited (gross) because i want to finally have a score to compare w/ other CCers…

haha yeah. Its crazy though… no1 at my school bothers with all this testing. I mean there are so freakin many!!! Why cant the Collegeboard combine the APs and SATII or why cant the 30 colleges that require SATIIs take APs in lieu?

SAT II and APs are not asking for the same information. It is much easier to self-study for an SAT II than an AP exam. That is why there is both.

Here’s what I’ll be doing:
8 March National Latin Exam
10 March SAT
5 (?) May SAT II in American History
11 May APUSH exam
10 June SAT II in Literature

I’m also missing a chunk of classes by interviewing at three colleges, each over half-way across the country, the week before and during my spring break, which is the only time they could all be scheduled.

I’m a junior. All of the dates except for the 10 June exam conflict with lax season and all three May/ June dates conflict with polo season. I just started far in advance to determine the amount of studying needed for each, so I know when to study for what. For example: SAT II in Lit is going to take a lot of studying, but after 11 May I’ll have study hall during my old APUSH time, so I’ll have time to study then. I’m going to be more busy than usual as lax season approaches, so I no longer do my Saturday volunteer work, and will plan on taking up double hours during the summer when I won’t need the study time.

I have rated how well I “need” to do on each. NLE- doesn’t matter. SAT I- I need to take my prep course to get really equiped for this, so this time around is getting the old school try and then some but I’m not freaking out over it. SAT II and APUSH- should come together, and will require my Saturday mornings and all day Saturday after the SAT. SAT II in Lit- resign myself to the fact that I will not be able to party with the rest of my AP class; I need the month to study for Lit.
