Am I doing alright?

I’m a Junior this year and I just wanted to make sure I’m on the right track to get into schools like USC, UCLA, Stanford, etc.

This year I’m taking:

Physics H
Pre-Calc H
AP Lit
Spanish III H
Epidemiology
Leadership
Medical Interventions
AP US History

I am also doing:

Student Council (2013 - now, junior secretary this year)
Giving Grizzlies (a community service club w/only 12 people or so, 2015 - now)
Power to Paws (also a community service club, 2015 - now)
Key Club (2013 - now)
DECA (2015 - now)
possibly Science Olympiad (2014 - now)
NHS (2014 - now)

Outside of school, I have weekly piano (2005 - now) and dance lessons (2014 - now) and participate in a charity called Ekal Vidyalya (2014 - now)

Awards:

NHD National Competitor
HOBY Ambassador
Several for piano
Key Club district member of the month
Dance award

I also have around 250 service hours or so.

So far I’ve gotten straight A’s in high school! I haven’t taken my SAT or PSAT yet, but plan to take the PSAT in October. I took one AP last year, AP World History and got a 5.

Your on the right track with ECs and course rigor. without test scores it is hard to predict, but i m sure you ll do phenomenal on those.

Your positioned okay. How many AP classes does your school offer? 3 through junior year seems light for Stanford. Depending on your state you will need a 205 - 225 PSAT to qualify for National Merit competition. It is worth studying for the PSAT because most kids won’t. What does NHD stand for - winning something nationally always is great

@Wje9164be We’re also a career and tech school, so we have a lot of homework as it is. NHS is National History Day!
