So far I have submitted CSS profile to few schools that had priority due date back in November.
Do I need to be doing anything else right now other than fill out FAFSA and submit CSS profile to other schools that has due date in February?
By the way, I live in California.
I don’t want my son to worry about the FA portion of applying for colleges and I am nervous that I might be forgetting something.

Sounds like you’re good for now. Just don’t also forget the GPA form for Cal Grants. Usually your high school will remind the students and maybe even do a mass submit of them, but you should have it on your checklist just in case. I just ordered turbo tax today so I can get started as soon as the W2 gets here!

Start a spreadsheet and go to the admissions and finaid websites of all schools applied to. Enter all the tasks and deadlines for each school. Add others like any Calgrant deadlines. Then refer to the spreadsheet every couple days. Check off what has been completed. Then you should be able to rest easier.

But from the brief info given it does seem like you are on top of things so far.
