One of MY CA activities is titled 'Member – National Junior Chess Squad; school team"
I later clarified in the Descriptions box that I only qualified for the National Junior Squad in Grades 9 and 10. I also added under Additional Info that as chess training days and competition days clashed with my football training days and competitive season, in Grades 11 and 12, I could only attend chess training on an irregular basis as an ad-hoc member, which is to say I am not a ‘proper’ member.
In that period of time, I did continue to pursue chess outside of school on my own (joining an online chess community, reading chess books etc.) and after football stopped in early Grade 12, I was able to devote more attention to chess and even ranked top ten in a national tournament.
So I was just wondering if it would be misleading to say ‘Member – National Junior Chess Squad; school team’ throughout high school from Grades 9 to 12?
