<p>I’m applying for Cornell (Early Decision), Caltech, Penn, MIT and Princeton in some months.</p>

Prospective Major: Computer Engineering
GPA: Dunno how to translate it into GPA, but It’s 96/100 right now.
Grade: I’m on 3rd Semester out of 6, I’ll get to 4th semester after summer.</p>
<p>–Extracurricular Info–
*I developed a software for restaurants to mantain a strict control of Incomes & Outcomes, on sellings, and, well, cashing functions.
I’m planning to do promote it in a contest that is held anually on my city.</p>

I showed it to 2 Teachers (a Computer Engineer, and a Computer Scientist) and told me it’s a very good idea. My father is using it on his small business and he says it made accounting & such easier, since he’s the only one who manages it.

<p>*I’m doing my communitary service on a orphanage, and I will work for around 480 hours.</p>

*My school offers Mandatory courses so we can study it in High School along our basic education. I chose “Software Programming”, and it’s regarded
*My teachers say I’m a great Autodidact and a fast learner.
*I learned English by just browsing on the internet, I never enrolled in any courses or such.
*I Love programming and new challenges. I got some books on Java programming so I could learn more, because my class is somewhat slow.
*My parents divorced, I live with my mother, I was poor until I was 9 years old. I have been thieved 3 times in my life, and I almost got abducted once.</p>
<p>–Work Experience–
*I worked on my Father’s small Food-business (It’s not fancy enough to be called a restaurant) as a cashier in the last summer. Because of it, I got the idea of making a software.
*I’m required to do 240 hours of “Professional Practices” which consist of going having a work in which we can develop our skills.</p>
<p>Awards:
*2nd place (School Level) in English essay writing.
*2nd place (Municipal Level) in a writing constest about “How to stop Drug Cartels”. Hm, I got critisized a lot because I promoted Death Penalty, and because being in a Drug Cartel is not seen with bad eyes here. In fact, some aspire to join one.</p>
