That’s a whopping 16 units; will I die next year, assuming I’m going for straight A’s or A-'s in all of them?

Like do any of these classes require a lot of hard work/heavy reading in particular? Or do they consume relatively little time outside of class/discussions?

I’d appreciate advice from anyone who may have taken or knows someone who may have taken any of these classes before.

i’ve heard that philosophy 12a is one of the easiest classes ever…simple logic that everyone should know. Poli Sci2 just involves a lot of reading. Your schedule actually looks quite easy.

I haven’t taken any classes at Cal yet, but I’ve heard that Astronomy 10C is a joke, as is Philosophy 12a. “Dying” will depend on your own ability.

Ex: Someone could still take the easiest courses and get Bs. Someone I know took about 26 units (nontrivial) per semester and got a 4.0. Only you know how good you are at studying/how smart you are.

This schedule looks great. Are you an incoming freshman?

I took Astro and PS2. Astro was easy, just not really my thing. Some people really liked it though. An A- at very least in PS2 is easily obtained.

By the way… A ‘whopping’ 16 units is actually the average and suggested course load! On the other hand, it was nice reading a schedule thread that wasn’t the usual ‘OMG EECS MAJOR HALP PLZ IS 40 UNITS SUICIDAL?’ and I actually had taken some of the classes being mentioned!
