am i in deeper s**t now?

i called the admission officer and asked them the requirements needed to be met to avoid rescinding or probation, and after they asked for my name, i realized it may have been a huge mistake… do u think my situation was worsened? would they pull out my application and review it a bit harsher? ooo man, wut do i do now… lol… maybe i should just lay back and do abs. nothing.

did yougive them your name? and what are your concerns about your grades?

ya, he asked me for my last and first name… my concern was if a c can get my revoked… i am very paranoid about this rescinding possibility. he said *a couple of B’s would not hurt, its only if you have all B’s and C’s, then you should prepare a letter explainin your drop"… but now he has my name, would he possibly go and do a check on me? : /

I doubt it, he won’t know your grades until they see the transcript, and unless it is a major drop in several classes, the schools dont have the time or inclination to go after kids with senoritis…they want you to go there and hold this over your head so you keep at your school work , a C won’t get your rescinded, just don’t let it go an lower

let it go and eat a cookie

and next time its okay to say, oh never mind, just wondering, no need to spend the time

or you can be joe smith or sake of the phone call, but nothing will happen.

I don’t think you are hopeless yet, but if I was you, I’ll purchase a stockpile of Redbull and pull some all-nighters to get those grades back up. You still have the finals, so all hopes are not lost. If you did very well in the finals, but your overall GPA still plumets, have all the teachers that you didn’t do so hot in to write you a brief letters telling adcoms that your finals were amazing and they shouldn’t rescind you.

I think its Vanderbuilt right, Congrats! No, don’t be paranoid, maintain a B average with possible A’s and you’re OK. Just dont get more than 1 C.
