Am I likely to be admitted?

<p>Hi,</p>

<p>I have already been accepted to my top choice, but I’m not sure how it will work out financially (private school). I was wondering, just as a backup, what my chances are of being accepted at UC Berkeley based on the following:</p>

<p>Female, Resident</p>

<p>SAT- 2100 CR690/M730/W680
SAT IIs- Math II- 680, Physics- 570
GPA- ~3.7UW/4.15 UC weighted</p>

<p>Applied to College of Engineering</p>

<p>Obviously my subject scores are really low. </p>

<p>Will being female help me in getting into the CoE for UC ( I know overall there is a higher percentage of girls at UC, so I don’t know if the Engineering thing works in my favor at all)? </p>

<p>How likely is it that I will be accepted at Berkeley, based on this? Am I for sure in at UCSD?</p>

<p>your SAT II scores don’t look so good. That and science AP test scores really do count if ur apply for CoE.</p>

<p>although being female is an interesting twist… I don’t believe CoE has many at all… diversity initiatives anyone?</p>

<p>Depends on the major that you applied for. You will most likely not get into EECS or Undecided but you might have a shot in other majors such as IEOR and Civil.</p>
