Great thread. I am very disoriented when I come out of a store. Re: losing you car in a parking lot–try it if you had a 1996 burgundy Ford Taurus…you and a trillion other people. Solved that problem with a 2004 F150 pickup, extended cab, with a truck topper. I am not stylin’ but the best thing about that vehicle is you can always spot it in a parking lot :)

Although I’ve done many similar things to those mentioned so far, I, strangely, am feeling much better about myself!

Fatigue, and probably getting older, can do some strange things to you. It is not unusual for me to put my wallet in the refrigerator, or while driving, not have a clue of where I am (in my hometown). Once, I was cleaning the kitchen, and realized that I couldn’t find my baby. I panicked and started running around the living room looking for him (he was in my arms, on my hip, and had been there while I was cleaning the kitchen). Probably one of the oddest times is when I woke up and started to panic, not knowing where I was, and there was someone in my bed! Fortunately I soon realized…oh, I’m at home, and this is my husband. Thankfully.

My son has a tendency to go in our laundry room and put on whatever pants he thinks is his. Once he put on a pair of jeans, zipped them up, and was about to walk out for school until I caught sight. He was wearing his younger brother’s pants. Younger by 5 years! And the pants were about 8 inches too short.

I am green/red color blind. We have a blue car and a green car of the same style. I find myself in parking lots not remembering which color car to look for and realizing that the car I’m looking at could be green, grey, blue, steel grey, lavender or anything similar.
