So, I was looking through the transfer agreement for my community college and UCLA’s Environmental Science major… and nothing appeared.

All I get is this:

====Environmental Science/B.S.====

Transfer admission to UCLA is competitive; strong academic preparation and
performance are primary elements of the admission review. Information about
UCLA’s transfer selection process is available at [UCLA Undergraduate Admissions](http://www.admissions.ucla.edu). You
should complete as many major preparation courses as possible prior to transfer.
For information regarding preparation for this major visit [UCLA Institute of the Environment](http://www.ioe.ucla.edu)

and [UCLA Registrar’s Office: General Catalog 2009-10](http://www.registrar.ucla.edu/catalog).

END OF MAJOR

BUTT!! when I got to UCLA’s website, it gives me this:
[Transfer Major Prep - Environmental Science - UCLA Undergraduate Admissions](http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/prospect/Adm_tr/lsmajors/env_sci.htm)

I checked a couple of different community colleges for that major just to make sure it wasn’t just my CC…does that mean all I have to do is complete my IGETC to transfer as an environmental science major?

Oh, and do you think it’s a good choice for pre-med :)? I just don’t want to make it seem like it’s too weak or not hard enough… Easy enough to get a high GPA? :P
