Am I on the right track for UNC Chapel Hill, Tulane, Case Western? (premed/bio)

Hey! I’m an Asian-American from the Bay Area (California)

Somehow got locked out of my old acc and I can’t recover or find my old post :frowning: … sorry, I’m really knew to this website

GPA:
Freshman: 2.8 UW, 3.0 W
Sophomore: 3.5 UW, 3.8 W
Junior: 3.8 UW, 4.4 W (1st sem only)

I was held back mostly by family issues and a really rough transition into HS, but I’ve figured it out as I’ve progressed

SAT: 1570 // 790 Math // 780 Reading // 18/24 Essay
SAT II Math: 800
SAT II Chem: 800

No AP tests yet

ECs:
– Class council Secretary, ASB next year, will fall back on council If i don’t make it for sure
– Octagon (Service Club) VP, President Next year, 100+ hours of volunteering + Presidential award
– JV and Varsity Soccer (2 years) (held back due to injuries)
– Volunteered abroad (Heath Care ) in numerous countries – Nepal, Bhutan, SA, Ghana
– Interned at the Emergency Care of the Hospital in my area
– Drama 3/4 years of high school, participated in the school play numerous times

College List (tentative) : Case Western Reserve, UNC Chapel Hill, Tulane, Rochester, USC, UT Austin, Wake Forest, UMich

Safety schools: Rutgers, Drexel, Syracuse, UCD, UCI, U Pitt, UT Dallas, ASU, LMU

Would you guys have any recommendations or projections of my chances to get into these schools? Would you guys change anything about my list? Thanks! :slight_smile:

Budget? Why OOS publics? What is your cumulative UW GPA (sorry) and your rank? I would ditch UT Austin if you don’t think you could get into UCB for example ( as OOS and I suspect rank) .And $$.
I assume you have UTD in there because money IS an issue. EFC? NPCs?
You are NMF? GPA is good for that?
Once you assert you are full pay at the desirable OOS publics, that makes things clearer.
Premed should try for cheap as possible undergrad. Med school is $$. Throwing money at OOS publics with good UCs at your disposal is foolish. Your merit $$ schools I get but not the non merit publics.
