how are your academics? from what I hear, USF puts a lot of emphasis on the difficulty of your academic load… like taking an extra foreign language or science class, and advanced math classes, and of course AP and Dual Enrollment.

also, from what I heard, that seems to be even more important than extracurriculars. so don’t be afraid to drop some ec’s in order to take (and succeed in) advanced courses during your senior year!! :)

I am currently taking two Ap classes and in doing very very well in both. I’ve had ap classes since freshman years an I haven’t completed any ap classes with less than a c. Im also taking three ap classes next year and I am taking honors in which im getting above average to average grades.

USF is a good school but it isn’t very hard to get into. If you focus on your academics, and get good SAT scores, I think that you will get in. I got in with a 1330 CR+M scores and a 3.98 USF GPA. As for extracurriculars, I had a few activities that I focused on. I am currently in the IB Program, which I think also helped.

As the days advance im getting more confident that i’ll be accepted. My grades are getting higher and in getting very high grades in my ap and core classes. I hope to see an increase in my gpa’s :-)
