Am I paranoid?

Basically the situation is that I am probably going to get a B in Spanish 4 and maybe a B in AP Chem. Since I’m applying ED (they don’t look at grades for first semester sienor year for ED so this would have been my last important semester of school) would my upward trend just like stop? haha what I mean is that I got one B each semester untill second semester sophomore year. Since then I’ve gotten straight A’s, so for 2 semesters. Would getting at most 2 B’s or even the 1 B hurt my appearence of being able to handle the classes? Haha I don’t know whether to think if I’m paranoid or what, but it has just been bugging me for a couple weeks now. I have a 34 ACT, probably 2300+ SAT after May to put this into perspective.

Am I paranoid?

in short, yes.

haha that pretty much sums it up. they don’t care if you get B’s if you take the hardest courses and show improvement. it’s a lot better than getting A’s in easy classes. and i’m sure you know that :)

Olleger - not answering your question but I wanted to point out that you can send senior year first quarter/marking period grades if you are applying ED. NU doesn’t require these grades but if they are good you can proactively send them.

haha thanks mediopollito. I guess I just have to buckle down and get that A in AP Chem for only 1 B = D.

And Jrpar, I did not know this. Thanks.
