I’m going to this local University in my state as a freshman. It’s going to cost me around $6,700 per semester for tuition, room, and board. My EFC is around 7000 so yeah, I got a scholarship, grant, and an option for loans. Is how much I’m gonna have to pay average, below average, or above average for a basic University (I don’t wanna name it, I’m sure you can get a hint from out of from my user)
It’s a good price. It’s too bad they can’t meet your full need, but if it is a public, and the one I’m thinking if, that’s a good deal bc they have so little aid to give!
Are you also taking on loans?
This is a lot less expensive than the “sticker price” for almost any university. In fact, this is about the cost of room and board for most universities (not including any other expense). It sounds like for one reason or another you have gotten quite a bit of financial aid.
You should keep in mind that you will also need books, and will probably either need or want to have a laptop. Also, expect university to be academically more difficult than high school, keep ahead in your work, and good luck!
