<p>I am an international applicant. I applied very late to Penn State, in the 2nd week of march. Now my app status says “Thank you for applying to Penn State. Your application has been received and is being reviewed. An admission decision will be posted here in the coming days.” the photo on the top is of Penn state University park there is also a long box with info abt Penn state University Park but theres a new addition in the bottom of a box with info abt Penn state Campuses and the 2+2 program. I didnt select any other campus only University Park. Does this addition mean I am rejected? Please help I m worried

<p>My dad was not convinced that I should go to US. He agreed later though. It is possible; when they tell u to select alternate campus if u keep it blank and click done they will ask u again to verify if u click ok again they will inform u “that u have not chosen a alternate campus” after which u can press continue without choosing alternate campus its possible most people dont know abt it. R u serious? do u think I have been waitlisted? I only want to go to UP. So in 2 days will I get to know my decision or that whether I have been waitlisted or not?</p>
<p>Yeah it takes 2-3 days to get the decision online after you get the coming days message. Since, you didn’t choose an alternate starting campus you cannot get pushed to a branch campus or maybe they will randomly assign you a branch campus. If you get waitlisted, you have a high chances of getting accepted. If you get rejected, you 0%. Keep this thread updated.</p>

<p>Thanks for telling. Sure I will keep it updated. Which school did u get into Penn State? Ah i would not like to disclose my results but 3 of my friends got into Penn State all of them had lower GPA and grades in External examinations (penn state values them highly like IGCSE) then me and 2 had lower SAT as well. So I guess I have the Grades required to get into Penn State plus i have won awards for Business competitions so yeah.</p>
<p>Well I never got any box below mine while I was waiting about the 2+2 program and I got into Fall UP.</p>
<p>I got rejected as expected! But I called them and told to consider me for DUS. They are reviewing now and will reply in a week’s time.</p>
