I only have 2 french credits because I didnt take foreign language courses my fresh and sophomore year. My friends tell me that if I dont take 4 years of foreign language, I’d have to take it in college. Is this true?

Probably.
Most colleges like it when applicants take 3 years in hs to bypass their language requirement.

Not unless you major in something requiring a foreign language (such as a B.S. in International Affairs and Modern Languages).

You only need 2 credits (i.e. years) of a foreign language to get into GT, and the vast majority of majors do not require foreign language.

You can look at the degree requirements for each major on their catalog. Unless you plan on joining the College of Liberal Arts (not recommended if you’re OOS and in need of financial aid), I wouldn’t worry about it.
Besides, even if you had to take it in college, would it really be that big of a deal? It doesn’t hurt to learn another language.

You have to complete 6 hours of humanities from the list below; there are plenty of non-language options.

Im actually gonna do aerospace/mechanical. So Im guessing that i dont have to take any foreign language?

Not unless you want to take a foreign language.
