are you in? id be really surprised if you arent. that said, i dont think its wise for anyone to use schools like bucknell as his only safeties; theyre simply too selective. my advice: get into a rolling admissions school (michigan, penn state, whatever) this fall–even if big schools arent your thing–as an absolute safety. then throw in a few safer bets like rochester and case, good schools with much higher acceptance rates, and you will be in much better shape.

good luck and ray bucknell!

Snake,

You are such a strong academic and well rounded student student that I doubt you need a safety school. But if you are applying to HPY, then even the most qualified students can be disappointed by their ridiculously low admit rates.

If you have visited Bucknell and can really see yourself attending, then I would still encourage you to apply. It’s a good idea to follow Eric’s advise to add a rolling admission school, although the schools he mentioned are large. Good luck to you.
