I’ll get right to the point my junior year was rough because of many reasons, teacher problems, friend involves me in his personal problems with abuse and finally my friend died. After all this my GPA at the end of the junior year turns out to be a 3.38. For the past two years my GPA was 3.7-3.8unweighted. Will colleges care/understand that my GPA fell because of these problems. My SAT I took it once and got a 1440, but I think I can get 1500+ if I prep. So am I basically screwed because of my GPA being horrendous?
Also my extra curricular activities include
President of Science and Engineering
President of RHC
President of Go Club
Officer of Cranes for Change (Sophomore year)
Vice President of Indian Culture Club
RA in dorm
Gold Key
Quiz Bowl
NSLC
Totally depends on the schools you are looking at. You won’t be able to show an upward trend since you’ll be applying most likely before senior fall grades are in.
