Am I screwed?

So, since school isn’t gonna be happening anytime in the next few weeks at least, I don’t have anyone to talk to about college things except for you guys.

Here’s my college decision record so far:

So here’s my question: Am I screwed for Northwestern, Tufts, and all the ivies I applied to?

SAT Superscore: 1570
ACT: 35
APs: Lang 5, Physics 1 4, APUSH 4, Chem 4
Taking 5 APs this year

Those are really good stats! I’m a student at Northwestern and I know that those stats are definitely good enough - but it’s not only about stats. It’s also about extracurriculars and your essays!

"Am I screwed’ is an inaccurate and unhelpful approach.

You are not ‘screwed’ if you don’t get into any of them, b/c you have good acceptances already.

You are not ‘screwed’ if unis that turns down 90+% of applicants turn you down, and you should assume that some of them will indeed say no.

Waiting is HARD. Waiting when you are home & bored & anxious is harder. I’m sorry.

Northwestern seems like an awesome school and it even has beaches??

My main EC’s are captain of the varsity tennis team (we aren’t very good though). captain of the robotics team, captain of the science team, vice president of the music honors society, and president and founder of the school pops orchestra.

My essay was about starting the pops orchestra and the challenges I went through in its inception and maintenance. I did make a stupid mistake however when I accidentally added an extra “an” in my essay. I didn’t realize until submitting my last few colleges .

High reaches are high reaches for any unhooked applicant, including you.
So you may get in one/some, but like many/most unhooked applicants, you may get shut out.

But in any case, listen to @collegemom3717. Why would you think you’re “screwed” if you got in to RPI and WPI? Do you care more about an education and self-development or what other people think? Since you’re sitting at home now, now is a good time to ponder those questions.
