<p>Every post that I read here…makes me feel stupid. Either someone has a 36 ACT or 2310 SAT…with a 4.5gpa…please assure me that I am not a failure…that is all I am asking for. </p>

Sat Subject Bio/M: 570(going to retake this October)
Math 2C: 680(going to retake as well)
Another Subject test for private schools?or just need 2?
Weighted Gpa: 3.875(UC)scale
Unweighted for Private schools: 3.66
First Generation in the U.S
Live in the State of California
Courseload: Have/Will take(n) rigorous Ap/Honors classes throughout junior/senior year…freshman/sophomore not available.</p>

<p>Ec’s
1.12 years of Tae Kwon Do…competed at several tournaments.
2. President/Founded Medical Club at my school.
3. Volunteer at Kaiser Hospital.
4. Volunteer at Math Camp for kids.
5. Painted in oils for several years/play chess. Won several Art awards
6. Work part time…as Karate instructor</p>

<p>I wouldn’t call NYU a reach, or not a very distant one. Tulane is a definite in.</p>

<p>i would definitely take another subject test, many top schools require//RECOMMEND 3.</p>

<p>What foreign language do you take? Are you in the position to possibly take a subject test in that area?</p>

<p>i think you should narrow that reach list down to 3 …or 4 if you have to. (i’d suggest that you shuld keep UCLA and USC since you’re cali res, but you pick the others)</p>

<p>i mean, with the people i know personally, my 2150 is like crazyyyyy a billion points higher than anyone’s sat score.</p>

<p>but by god, you’re by no means a failure, in any way. yeah, schools like harvard and princeton… you’ve gotta be majestic or a god or something to get in. so i’m gonna be honest, don’t get your hopes up. they only like perfect people. but BU, NYU, UCI, UCD, tulane you have pretty solid chances at, i would say UCSD too, and you could throw in stuff like UCLA or USC if you want a reach. quite a few of the schools you mentioned rarely take anybody below like a 35 act, so don’t take it offensively. but there are a billion colleges you’re fantastically qualified for, and most of them would be highly competitive.</p>
